Customizing the background of your AI Studios video is a simple yet impactful way to enhance its visual appeal. Whether you choose to add a photo, video, or solid color, setting the right background helps create a polished and engaging experience for your audience. This guide will walk you through the steps to set, change, or remove background media, ensuring your video reflects your creative vision.


Apply a New Background Photo or Video

  1. Choose an Image or Video from the Media or Asset Tab

    • Navigate to the Media tab on the left-hand side to browse stock photos, videos, and audio.

    • Alternatively, import personal media by clicking on the Asset tab to upload your own images or videos.

  2. Apply Background Media

    • Select the photo or video you want to use.

    • Click the "Set as Background" button located in the menu bar on top of the video editor.

  3. Choose Application Scope

    • A small menu will appear below the button, allowing you to apply the background to either:

      • All slides

      • Current slide only


How to Remove Media Background

  1. Right-Click to Remove

    • Right-click on the background media you want to remove.

    • Select "Remove Background" from the pop-up menu.

  2. Apply Removal Scope

    • Choose whether to remove the background from all slides or just the current one.

    • After removal, the background defaults to a solid color.


How to Set a One-Color Background

  1. Select Background to Customize

    • Click on the background to activate the color customizer.

    • If media is currently set as the background, remove it first to access the color options.

  2. Choose a Background Color

    • Color Slider Bars: Adjust hue and lightness.

    • Gradient Box: Use the large slider box to intuitively select colors.

    • Hex Code: Enter a specific six-character hex code for precise color matching.

  3. Fine-Tune Colors

    • Drag the small circle buttons on the sliders to refine the color.

    • Use hex codes to maintain consistent branding or match specific palettes.

  4. Adjust Opacity

    • To create gradients or adjust transparency, use the opacity slider at the bottom of the color menu. Opacity ranges from 0 to 100.
