What is Docs to Video?

Docs to Video is an AI-powered tool that turns your static files—like .PPT, .PDF, .XLSX, and more—into engaging video content in just minutes. Simply upload your document, and AI Studios will analyze the content to create a tailored script, generate relevant video footage, and include an AI avatar voiceover. Whether you're crafting pitches, training materials, or presentations, this tool ensures your content is transformed into professional videos that captivate your audience from start to finish.

Note: This is different from Upload PowerPoint. If you want to upload your slides to AI Studios without generating a script, please follow this guide.

How to Convert PPT, DOC, PDF to MP4

  1. Navigate to Docs to Video

    • Go to the 'Marketing' tab and select 'Docs-to-video'. Click on the tool to open a pop-up menu.

    • You can also drag and drop your file right into the main text bar on the top of AI Studios' dashboard.

  2. Upload Document

    • Upload the document you want to convert into a video, including .ppt, .pptx, .pdf,.doc, .docx, .xlsx, .txt.

  3. Video Customization

    • Customize the duration, objective, & avatar to be used in the video to match your project needs. (Note: Some file types may not allow you to select the duration. You can adjust the video length during the editing phase.)

  4. Select Video Language

    • Choose the language for your video. AI Studios supports over 80 languages, and the script and visuals will reflect your selection.

  5. Image and Video Style

    • Choose the source for images and video footage:

      • File Background: Generates footage using the document as the background (ideal for slides and PowerPoints).

      • Auto: AI Studios selects images automatically.

      • Upload: Use your own images.

      • Search: Find relevant media online.

      • Free Stock: Access Pixabay’s free media.

Why Docs to Video Might Not Be Working Correctly

If you encounter errors or the video quality isn't as expected, these could be possible reasons. Feel free to reach out to support for more detailed answers.

  • Unreadable Document – The uploaded file may be corrupted or unreadable by AI Studios.

  • Insufficient Text Content – Documents that are highly visual with little text may not convert well into videos.

  • File Length Limitations – Depending on your plan, the document may exceed the maximum allowed length. Check your plan’s video length limits.

  • AI Service Downtime – Our AI provider (such as OpenAI) may experience downtime. Check the OpenAI status page if you encounter persistent issues.

  • Unsupported File Type – Ensure the file type is supported (PPT, DOC, PDF, etc.).

  • Slow Uploads – Large files may take longer to process. Try reducing the file size or splitting it into smaller sections.

  • Incomplete Upload – Verify that the entire document was uploaded successfully without errors.

  • Inappropriate Content – If the document contains content that violates our terms of use, Docs to Video will not generate the video.

Example Uses for Docs to Video

  • Training Videos – Upload a training presentation (PPT or PDF) and turn it into an engaging video. Perfect for onboarding or internal knowledge sharing. Customize or edit as content evolves.

  • Sales Videos – Convert product brochures, proposals, or sales PDFs into polished videos to send to clients or present during pitches.

  • Educational Videos – Upload lecture slides, class notes, or PDFs to create educational content for students. This is ideal for e-learning platforms or classroom recaps.

  • Company Announcements – Transform internal memos, strategy documents, or quarterly reports into informative videos for staff.

  • Marketing Materials – Convert promotional documents, whitepapers, or reports into eye-catching video content for campaigns.

  • Event Recaps – Upload event summaries or slide decks and generate videos to share post-event highlights.

Docs to Video simplifies the process of repurposing existing materials into engaging, visual content that resonates with audiences.
