Layers are essential for organizing and editing elements in AI Studios. They let you make changes to specific parts of your design without affecting others. This gives you more flexibility and control over your creative process. Whether you're adjusting colors, rearranging elements, or adding effects, layers help you manage your project with ease and precision.
Working with Layers
Adding Media and Elements
Upload media or add stock elements to the main video editor.
The most recently added file will appear at the top or front of the layer stack.
This makes it easy to control which elements appear in front or behind others.
Selecting Layers
Right-click on any element in the editor to access layer options.
If a layer is at the back and hard to select:
Click the "Select Layer" option from the menu.
Select the element you want to edit.
Reordering Layers
Select the layer you want to move.
Adjust its position by using the following options:
Send Backward: Move the layer one step behind other layers.
Send to Bottom: Move the layer all the way to the back.
Bring Forward: Move the layer one step in front of others.
Bring to the Front: Move the layer all the way to the front.
Note: Layers positioned forward will cover those behind them.
Grouping Elements in AI Studios
Grouping elements in AI Studios allows you to move and adjust multiple items together, maintaining consistent alignment and design. This is particularly useful for managing complex projects with multiple overlapping elements.
How to Group Elements
Hold down the Shift key and click on the layers you want to group.
This enables temporary grouping, allowing you to reposition and adjust elements as a single unit.
Limitations of Grouping
AI Studios currently supports temporary grouping only.
Permanent grouping of layers is not available at this time.
