What is Script to Video?
Script to Video is an AI Prompt tool that lets you transform blogs, articles, and written content into engaging videos within minutes. Simply copy and paste your text, and AI Studios will generate a complete video draft, including a professionally crafted script, relevant video footage, and an AI avatar voiceover.
Perfect for bloggers, journalists, marketers, and educators, this tool makes it easy to bring your written content to life with minimal effort.
How to Use Script to Video
1. Navigate to Script to Video
Head to the Script to Video feature by typing your video script directly into the text input bar at the top of the dashboard, or find it by going into the “Marketing” tab in the AI Studios dashboard and scrolling a little right to access the Script to Video feature.
2. Enter and Customize Your Video Script
Provide your video script as input, up to 20,000 characters. You can also copy and paste your notes, blog, or news article, which AI Studios will use to create a script.
3. Choose Video Language
Pick your preferred language for the video. AI Studios supports over 150+ languages to help you reach a global audience. In Script to Video, the duration of the video cannot be manually set.
4. Choose Script Usage Options
Decide whether to use your script as-is or have AI Studios create a new script:
Keep it Original: The exact script you provided will be used with no changes.
AI Touch-Up: AI Studios will use your content to generate a refined script for the video.
5. Customize Your Script (If Using AI Touch-Up)
Guide the AI with extra prompts to enhance your script. This is only necessary if you are using the AI Touch-Up feature. Please specify:
Objective: The main purpose of your video (e.g. to explain a concept).
Audience: The target viewers (e.g. beginners).
Tone: The desired style or mood (e.g. friendly).
Speed: Adjust the narration pace (e.g. 1.0 for a normal pace).
6. Select Image and Video Style
Decide how AI Studios will source visuals:
Search: AI Studios searches the web for relevant media.
Free Stock: Browse Pixabay's free library of stock images and videos.
Premium Stock: Access high-quality, licensed media from Shutterstock.
Generative: AI Studios generates unique images tailored to your script. You can also choose the visual style, such as 'realistic', 'watercolor', or 'pixel art'.
Generative+: Uses generative credits to produce advanced, high-resolution visuals and video elements with a more premium image and video generator than the normal Generative option.
You can toggle this by keeping "Enable High-Quality AI Media" on.
7. Select a Template & Avatar
Browse templates using the drop-down menu labeled “YouTube and TikTok,” which lets you filter by categories like social media, business, or education. Pick a template that suits your project goals. You can fine-tune its details after the video is created.
Next, choose the avatar for your video. Select a custom avatar you’ve uploaded or one of AI Studios’ stock avatars. You can always update this avatar later if needed.
8. Preview and Edit
Click 'Next' to generate a draft preview. Review the images, video, and narration. You can edit the script and other details during the preview screen. However, note that you won’t see the avatar animated just yet. You can also go into the video editor if you want to make more specific changes.
9. Export and Finalize
When you’re satisfied with the video, click 'Export' to produce the final version with AI voice narration and an AI avatar presenter. You can continue to edit even after export by returning to the video editor at any time.

Why Script to Video Might Not Be Working Correctly

Insufficient Text Content – The text provided may not have enough information to generate a full video (if using AI touch-up).
Content is Too Long - Your maximum video length depends on your subscription tier:
Free Plan – Create videos up to 3 minutes long
Personal & Team Plans – Create videos up to 30 minutes long
Inappropriate Content – The text may contain content that violates AI Studios' terms and conditions.
Language Not Supported – The text language might not be available in AI Studios.
AI Downtime – AI services may be temporarily unavailable. Check OpenAI’s status here.
