Why am I getting "Error 999"

Error 999 typically occurs when your script is too long and/or contains too many pauses on a single screen. This can cause a processing issue during video generation.

What Causes It?

The issue usually stems from:

  • A single scene containing an overly long script

  • Too many pauses within that one scene

  • Too many pauses placed next to each other consecutively

  • The AI engine struggling to handle that much content at once

How to Fix It

To avoid Error 999 and ensure smoother video generation:

  1. Break your script into multiple scenes
Instead of placing everything in one block, split your script using multiple scenes in the AI Studios video editor. Each scene should contain a more manageable portion of the dialogue or narration.

  2. Keep scripts concise per scene
Aim for natural breaks in the script, such as at paragraph or topic changes. This helps the system process each segment more effectively.

  3. Use one pause instead of multiple pauses consecutively

Instead of using more than one pause next to each other in the script, click on a single pause block and type in how long you want the pause to be.

Tip: To keep the avatar and design assets in the same position without manually recreating the scene, hover your cursor over the three dots on the scene block you want to duplicate. When the menu appears, click "Duplicate Scene."
